If you want fried seafood, this is one of the better places in the area. Portions are good sized, and cooked properly. The menu is quite limited- it really is all about the fried food. This is not a super high end place and could use a remodel. Many people do take-out.

Good food and reasonably priced. Kinda hidden but worth seeking out as the restaurant sits back from the main drag. We ordered deep fried chicken, fish, French fries and vegetables.We will go again when we are in the area.

Feeling a bit disappointed. KP’s was recommended by family and a coworker, so we gave it a shot. To be honest, I do not feel the money paid is worth what I received. The basket was half fries—no seasoning, not even salt—and a roll that tasted like standard supermarket fare. As to the seafood, it was average. I was mostly disappointed by the haddock that tasted frozen. So close to the ocean yet frozen food. Add in some slaw, salt, maybe make your own tartar sauce, and it will be better.

Overall food is amazing and great portion sizes! Been here a few times and they always treat you like family. Never had a disappointing experience.

Surprisingly large interior with good service. Food was nothing spectacular... but was good. Very good portion size but not cheap either. Fries were ok..

Wont be back.. Seafood didn't smell right.. And was very expensive..Gave more French fries than anything else...

The food here is always amazing

I absolutely appreciate the food that KP's has to offer. It's a well hidden local joint that's recently expanded. Their customer service is great and the delicious food is cooked fresh and served quickly. The snack size basket is plenty filling with overflowing amounts of food, whereas the large basket can comfortably feed two adults; and the price for the amount of fresh seafood is astounding. I attempt to stop in every time I'm in town and will be sorely disappointed when work no longer brings me across the path of KP's.

My guilty pleasure: fried food. While visiting, I wanted to try out how the local Mainers do it. I got the 1/2 shrimp and Haddock. It was less oily than expected, which is a huge plus. The serving is generous. Employees are nice and friendly. All in all, great food with less of the guilt.

Fantastic food. Nice, clean and very good. No frills just great food and service. This was our first time and we were thrilled.EDIT: Been here MANY times now and it is BY FAR the BEST Seafood north of Kittery. Everything is AMAZING...

Big portions, a bit pricey, I am not sure if the fish & chips was fresh fish or a frozen fish stck. I will try them again.

Hands down THE BEST CHICKEN IN L/A!! Honestly, best chicken compared to any place I've been. I craved KPs while living in CA and was so excited to eat there again after moving home. So excited I actually went once a week for almost 2 months! I just tried the lobster roll for the first time the other day, so good! Staff is so inviting and the owner has a great vibe. Highly recommend KPs Place!!

I'm visiting Maine and wanted local eats versus fastfood chains. This little local shop was what I wanted. I had a Grilled Haddock fish sandwich which was light, not fishy and grilled perfectly. I talked with the owner and the cashier who was very sweet and accommodating. I had only a little time and they put it in a to go for me!

The food here is so good. My husband and I have been here several times and we are never disappointed. It's very simple no frills, no alcohol, just good food at a reasonable price. Highly recommend

KP's has delicious scallops, chicken, onion rings, etc. They give large portions and reasonable prices. We drive all the way from Bath once a week even during the pandemic and eat in our car! We will be happy when we can done inside again.

The Red Barn in Augusta gets all the glory for fried seafood baskets. But KP's Place is outstanding. Service is fast, prices are good, the staff is super friendly and the food always tastes nice and clean.

Got takeout. All fried food was stuck together in a lump & tasted like very used oil. Never again.

Kp’s is good food but every time I go there they are stingy with the sauces. I have ordered a mixed seafood basket before to come home with only one tarter sauce. I ordered a family meal to come home with one ranch sauce. There is sometimes no butter for the rolls. This place would have five stars from me if they accommodated me with enough condiments to match the size of the meal I ordered.

I came off the 1st day of the Trek across Maine hungry for deep fried seafood. Found this place. Excellent food fabulous service and wonderful wonderful people. Highly recommend.

Amazing place for seafood! Husband and I are picky with where we go out for dinner these days. This place has large portions for a great price!! 99's restaurant gives you a third of the food for $5-$10 more in price. This place is worth your money unlike franchises like applebees or 99's. The food was well cooked and served hot and we didn't have to wait too long. We got the scallop basket and between my husband and I we had left over fries when we were done!! Amazing!!! We will definitely be coming back for more and with more friends. Highly recommended all American food with a staff that does an amazing job at giving the customers just what they want.

This place always delivers on great food and the portions and large enough to fill me. The family portion alone says its for 4 people but it feeds my family of 6 no problem.
